See StarterStopper One in 30 seconds
StarterStopper One is our flagship electronic immobiliser, designed for professional installation into a wide range of vehicles. Unlike a reseller importing somebody else's security product, we develop both the hardware and firmware behind the system — so installers deal directly with the people who understand and build it.
Built around
professional installation.
StarterStopper began by selling directly to vehicle owners. But vehicle security isn't an ideal DIY product. Customers often want the confidence of having an experienced automotive professional install the system correctly. Many would rather buy a complete supplied-and-installed solution than work out the installation themselves.
That's why we're building a network of professional installation partners across Australia. We're looking for businesses that already understand automotive electrical systems and want to offer StarterStopper as an additional high-value product to customers and vehicles already passing through their workshop.
Four steps. No lock-in.
1. Join
Become an approved StarterStopper installation partner. No franchise agreement, minimum order or inventory commitment.
2. Evaluate
Qualified partners can evaluate StarterStopper One themselves before deciding whether to offer it to customers with installation information and direct technical support from StarterStopper.
3. Sell & install
Offer StarterStopper One to suitable customers at the recommended supplied-and-installed price of $899 AUD. Your purchase price is $419 and your workshop retains $480.
4. Grow
Continue ordering StarterStopper One as required. As our installer network develops, customers looking for professional installation can also be directed towards participating local installers.
Direct access to the people who build it.
Hardware + firmware developed in-house
We develop the electronics and embedded firmware behind StarterStopper ourselves. You're not dealing with a retailer who has to contact a distributor who then has to contact the manufacturer.

Built for automotive installation
StarterStopper One is designed as an aftermarket automotive security product and is intended to be professionally integrated into the vehicle.
We can actually change the product
Because we control the hardware and firmware, unusual installation requirements don't automatically end with "the product doesn't support that". Where there is a genuine technical and commercial requirement, we can investigate vehicle-specific integration or functionality.
Is StarterStopper a fit
for your business?
Ideal partners are comfortable working with vehicle electrical systems and already install aftermarket automotive products:
- Auto electricians
- Vehicle security specialists
- Car alarm and immobiliser installers
- Automotive electronics specialists
- 4WD and ute accessory installers
- Car audio installers with automotive electrical capability
- Performance workshops with electrical installation capability
No previous StarterStopper experience is required.
Don't take our word for it.
Install one.
We don't expect a professional installer to recommend a security product simply because they've seen a website or spoken to us on the phone.
Qualified installation partners can evaluate StarterStopper One themselves. Install it. See how the system works. See how long the installation actually takes. Talk directly to us if you have technical questions.
Then decide whether it's something you'd be comfortable recommending to your customers.
Answers,
workshop to workshop.
If your question isn't covered here, call or email us — you'll be talking to the people who build the product.
Do I need to keep StarterStopper products in stock?
No. There is no inventory commitment. You can order StarterStopper One as required.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No.
How much does an installer make?

How long does installation take?
For an experienced automotive electrical installer, a typical StarterStopper One installation should take no more than approximately two hours. Actual installation time may vary depending on vehicle and installation requirements.
Do you provide installation documentation?

What if I haven't installed StarterStopper before?

Do I have to exclusively sell StarterStopper?
No. We're happy to work with professional installers who already install other vehicle security products.
Can StarterStopper support unusual vehicles or requirements?
Because we develop both the hardware and firmware ourselves, we can investigate unusual vehicle or integration requirements. This does not mean every customisation is possible or included free of charge.
Will StarterStopper send customers to my workshop?
As the installer network develops, we intend to direct customers seeking professional installation towards suitable participating installers.
What happens with warranty or technical issues?
Technical product issues are handled directly with StarterStopper. Detailed warranty and installer terms are provided during onboarding.
