FAQ

Common questions
before you pick.

Quick answers to the most common comparison questions. Full FAQ on each product page.

What's the practical difference between Classic and One?

Classic is two cuts with a code entered via your brake pedal or a hidden momentary button. One adds a button-sequence code, learner mode, service mode, and push-to-start vehicle support — useful if your car needs the ignition to stay live but the drive circuit broken.

When should I get Alarm instead of Classic?

If you want audible deterrence. Alarm outputs a 118 dB siren signal if someone turns the ignition without your code. Classic silently disables the car; Alarm also yells about it.

Do I need One-S?

One-S — a One with added tilt, tow, and motion detection for parked-asset scenarios (tool trucks, jobsite vehicles, fleet utes) — is coming later. For everything available today, One is the top of the range. If the parked-asset use case is you, email us and we'll let you know when it lands.

Can I install it myself?

Most owners can install Classic or Alarm in 1-2 hours with basic tools. One takes longer because of the extra wiring and the button. Each product page has a full install guide and wiring diagram for common vehicles.
